Supposedly, Kid Rock first smacked him with the back of his hand. After standing up Kid Rock really got a knock out blow in. According to an eye witness,

“It looked like Tommy Lee initiated it because Kid Rock was ignoring him”

Although Kid Rock wasn’t around following the incident, the Las Vegas PD did catch up with him later. It is not known if Tommy Lee is going to press charges.
